CDNY Chartering 2013-2014

Chapter leaders: It's time to get your chapter chartered with us again. Our big annual chartering push is taking place this month, and it's your opportunity to share your thoughts and goals with us so that we can best serve you and your members.

To get your chapter chartered, fill out our quick Google form. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete, and it's extremely important as it helps us stay in touch with you about upcoming events and opportunities and it lets us know what you need from us, helping us help you as much as possible.

If you run into any problems or have any questions about chartering, don't hesitate to contact us.

CDNY Announces Support for the Voter Empowerment Act

Albany, NY -- The College Democrats of New York are proud to announce their support of the Voter Empowerment Act, a nonpartisan initiative to increase voter participation in the 2012 election season. According to the Brennen Center for Justice, this legislation would call for an update to the current voter registration process in New York, streamlining the process and making it more efficient. The Voter Empowerment Act will, with the consent of the citizen, automatically register residents of New York to vote when they interact with specific government agencies.

Obama For America New York City Campus Summit

This Saturday, Feb.25th the OFA New York will be hosting College Democrats from across the state to come together and discuss the importance of reelecting the president and what you can do on your campus to help this progress continue. The event will be in New York City in the Woolworth Building from 11am to 6pm.

The event will be a great chance to learn what you can do for the campaign as well as create bonds with other College Democrats and an opportunity to Network with other students.

There is only ONE WEEK left until the College Democrats of New York 2012 Kickoff Celebration! We know 2012 will be a tough year. We know we have major tasks ahead of us, including re-electing President Obama, and electing a Democratic Congress, and State Senate. The College Democrats of New York will be working hard to meet these challenges, but we cannot succeed without your support.
