Senator Kirsten Gillibrand seeks Fall interns for her New York City office
The New York City Office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is now accepting applications for the Senator’s Fall 2011 internship. This internship Program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in government and build leadership skills. This program is designed to mentor and cultivate today’s young leaders and prepare them for future public service opportunities. Interns will be placed in a number of departments of the Senator’s office including Constituent Affairs, Community Outreach, Operations, and Press.
“As a political science major this internship really gave me a crash course in how government works, and the one on one mentoring I needed to prepare me for a career in this field. Both the intelligent and friendly interns I got to work alongside as well as the dedicated and attentive staff I worked for all made for a positive work environment and a productive and enjoyable internship experience.”
